The Dodge Viper has been out of production for five years now. That hasn’t stopped diehard fans of the American supercar from pushing the platform to new heights on the drag strip.
Nth Moto, the Shakopee, Minnesota firm that specializes in making Vipers go very, very quickly, just published a video on its YouTube channel claiming to have just set a new world record for fifth-generation Vipers at the drag strip. The shop was able to hustle its own twin-turbo ACR to an incredible 6.90-second quarter-mile at 210 mph, making it the first gen-five Viper to break into the six-second range.
