Believe it or not, the Aventador has been around for over a decade now. It’s in desperate need of a replacement, and Lamborghini knows it. Engineers are behind the scenes cooking up a worthy successor to the V-12 flagship, and this latest spy video out of Italy is likely our first look at what’s in store.
Spy videographer Varryx published a short clip to YouTube on Monday from outside the Lamborghini factory gates showing a heavily camouflaged test mule of what looks to be an all-new mid-engine supercar. It’s tough to say at this point whether this is actually the Aventador’s successor or just another limited-production throwback model like the Countach, but considering just how much cladding is surrounding the body, we’re betting on the former.
