Since the jump in car prices over the past two years, finding cheap Dodge Vipers for sale has been tough. I should know, I’ve been looking for months. If you’re in the market for one and willing to get your hands dirty, we might just have the car for you. But be prepared, there’s going to be a lot of work involved.
Just five days ago, this 2002 Dodge Viper GTS popped up for sale on Facebook Marketplace in Albuquerque, New Mexico for just $16,000—wildly cheap for any Viper, much less a rare GTS coupe. The catch, as you can probably tell by the pictures, is that the car is totally disassembled. Almost every component has been removed from the unibody, which now sits forlorn in the back lot of some grassy yard. There are photos of parts ranging from body panels, to doors, to side skirts, to exhaust pieces. There are even interior trim bits and bumpers.
