The electric truck segment is crowded. Despite the fact that no company has delivered a full-scale production EV truck to customers, Tesla, Ford, GMC, Ram, Rivian, Bollinger, Lordstown, and a handful of other brands have already committed to the idea. In fact, GMC is so all-in that the company confirmed it is working on a second all-electric truck.
It was already an early mover when it announced the Hummer EV truck back in 2020. It’s ambitious in every dimension, with a six-figure price tag, a 9000-lb curb weight, and a three-second 0-60 time. You’ll also be able to get it as an SUV. It’s fair to say GMC is going big in the segment.
