First of all, it’s been around since 1931, and has over 4,000 cars covering more than 30 acres. The owner is Dean Lewis and this isn’t a salvage yard. Sure, Lewis will still sell you a part or even a car, but since it will mess up his art project, don’t expect to get a bargain. Instead this is a place to watch nature and automotive history come together. It’s paradise for those that love patina, and a photographer’s dream. At one time, this was a working salvage yard, but now it’s evolved into something more.
