Converting Porsche 911s into high-speed off-roaders is wildly popular these days. But some are more ridiculous than others. An example of the latter is this Baja 911 constructed by Russell Built Fabrication. With some gigantic fender flares and over a foot of suspension travel, it can get over pretty much anything. Now, it can be yours.
This particular Baja 911 is the original prototype built by Russell in 2019. Based on a 964-generation 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, most of the body has been replaced with custom composite or carbon fiber items. It’s a full 15 inches wider than before, yet thanks to extensive use of aerospace-grade chromoly, it weighs just 2800 pounds.
