It was the F1 legend’s company car in 2010.
Mercedes-Benz has a long history of building unassuming family wagons sporting large engines overflowing with horsepower. It started in the 1970s, with the S123 quietly available with tuning from AMG. While the US has been lucky enough to get the E63 S, we’ve missed out on some truly incredible gems – like this S204 C63 AMG.
With a naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 under the bulging hood, this 451-hp family car was good for 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Small wonder that legendary F1 racing champion Michael Schumacher took a liking to the C63, taking delivery of this very example in 2010. When he joined the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula 1 Team, he was given this V8 family wagon as a company car.
Twelve years on, the C63 Wagon has covered around 94,000 miles under the careful watch of four owners. Schumacher used the car for just a few months before it was sold to a Swiss customer, who is responsible for the majority of the mileage.
