Here’s Your Best Look Yet at the New Maserati GranTurismo

A replacement for the original Maserati GranTurismo is long overdue. The first generation managed to stick around for an incredible 12 years, ending production at the end of 2019. Its exit has left a gap in the Italian brand’s lineup, which now currently consists of two sedans, an SUV, and the limited-production MC20 supercar. Well, judging by this latest spy video out of Italy, we likely won’t have to wait long to see the grand-tourer make a grand return.

The Varryx YouTube channel managed to capture a heavily camouflaged GranTurismo prototype prowling the streets outside Maserati’s factory recently, giving us our best look yet at the car’s styling. Though we can’t tell what the final design will look like just yet, shaping at the front at the car suggests it might borrow styling from the more extreme MC20. But that’s just an educated guess at this point.
