370Z - Setup for Track Days
Just curious what suspension and wheel combos people are running for Track Days. I have a 2016 sport that will become a track-only car eventually.
Just an update on this. I am currently looking at doing the following list to prepare for next season. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
All Fluids Flushed and Replaced for New Race Season with High-End Racing Fluids
Check Brakes (I have a spare set of slotted rotors if needed)
Complete suspension upgrade including:
Sway Bars Front & Rear
Shocks/springs or coil overs whatever would be best for the track
Front and Rear Arms?
Anything else you would recommend?
Braided brake lines (any other Braided Lines Recommended for Track)
Racing Clutch Setup (I want like to ensure I do not lose my rev-match function when doing this)
Headers & Test Pipes
Dyno Tune with Before and After information
18” Rims with Tires Specific for the Track
Braided clutch line if you haven’t already done so, it gives the clutch a much better feel
I have note done it yet. I expect to put a new clutch in at some point this summer. I have to start researching what I want though. I would need to change to the braided clutch line at that time then.
The only 2 items not done or scheduled to be done at this point from the original list is the clutch and supercharger. I think I am going to pass on the supercharger for now. (I may supercharge my Corvette instead).
What tires did you pick for your 370? Did you pick all weather / street? Or something more performance / track only focused?
