Really depends on your budget and whether you’re a muscle car or import kinda guy. I would highly recommend a Challenger. My brother had a scat pack shaker & now a Hellcat & they‘re both awesome. You can get great deals on them, and the back seat can comfortably seat 2 adults and a large dog too (I know from experience haha). I think it’s a cooler option than a Charger, personally. If you’re not into American muscle, I would go for a Subie WRX STI. You can play around with them in all weather cause of AWD and there’s tons of modifications you could do cause there’s a huge aftermarket for them.

This is what I’m thinking. All depends on your budget.

lease a Challenger R/T!! The lease deal for my manual R/T was only $139/month... you will have to wait for a deal to pop up or get lucky, but still... #cheapboats

Depending on budget there is really a variety of cars that you can get for a first car.. if you wanted to go manual you can go Subaru sti or brz or even a gti r... or you could go the American muscle route and pick up a cheap c6 vette or mustang gt nowadays with huge aftermarket support.

I’m originally from the UK where insurance on performance cars for a new driver is ridiculously expensive 8-10x the cars value, my first car was a Peugeot 306 1.4l but loved every moment with it, here I have a Mercedes E55 AMG so thing have changed but I’d love to own another 306 some day

I am on board with the Charger as state above in this forum. Seems like the most bang for the buck out there. Alternatively, find a Lexus LS400 (my first and 3rd cars). Old but truly unbreakable! Either way, good luck brother!
